Senior Personal Trust Relationship Manager The candidate will be responsible for managing complex relationships with personal financial services clients. Utilizes broad-based fiduciary knowledge, experience, and bank resources to identify opportunities for relationship enhancement, and to recognize problems and provide solutions. Guides sensitive and difficult client situations to a mutually satisfactory resolution. Assists less experienced relationship managers in developing client servicing skills. Manages an account base consisting of large and complex relationships with personal financial services clients including more sensitive situations; administers client fiduciary relationships ensuring that fiduciary standards and practices are observed; assumes responsibility for overall client satisfaction by directing and coordinating the efforts of appropriate bank resources to ensure timely delivery of quality service, issue resolution, and effective communication of client needs to partners; cultivates strong working relationships with clients and their advisors in order to develop a complete understanding of clients'' needs. Adds value to relationships by solving existing problems, anticipating possible problems, and taking preventative action. Builds and maintains knowledge of fiduciary standards and practices. Utilizes fiduciary expertise and negotiating skills to guide sensitive and difficult client situations to a mutually satisfactory resolution. Educates client on bank products/services, emerging issues, regulatory/tax changes, and advises clients on appropriate actions. Initiates, solidifies, and expands relationships by demonstrating how client service delivery can expand client relationships. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of various bank resources to facilitate client service delivery and expand client relationships. Teaches, trains, and develops partners, usually related to developing client servicing skills among other relationship managers.The candidate should preferably have J.D. degree and/or CTFA as well as proven business development skills. Must have 10+ years of experience in fiduciary servicing, in personal trust, or estate administration working with high net worth clients. Knowledge of fiduciary and financial products and services usually acquired through extensive related work experience is needed. Broad-based technical knowledge of investments, tax, legal, and operations are necessary to service clients is required. Knowledge of fiduciary standards, principles, and applicable laws and regulations usually acquired through training, seminars, or law school is essential. Skills and experience in negotiating, delegating, leadership, and sales are necessary.Click here
