Chinese Guy Takes A Microsoft Website. MS Not Happy

For those not in the know, domain squatting is the act of owning a website domain (name) with no other purpose than to make money of people buying the site off them.

?

Such is the case for Tang Haiyue of China, who owns the domain ?XboxSmartGlass.com?. He purchased the domain just after Engadget leaked information that Microsoft were going to soon announce their SmartGlass stuff,? so it?s safe to say that it?s more than a coincidence.

?

Labelling itself as a ?nonprofit blog to introduce the smart glass industry knowledge?, the site will probably be handed over to Microsoft as they filed trademarks for ?SmartGlass? back in January.

?

It?s all in the hands of the National Arbitration Forum, who usually take apart domain squatters who try to say that their [famous movie series followed by the number 5.com] site is merely a fan site or blog.

?

Microsoft did manage to get xboxmsartglass.org though, so that?s nice.
