I am planning to launch a blog in September this year, and would need some legal advice on the following areas specifically:

Copyright and Trademarking
? Protecting my brand
Protecting the content/images/material I publish and "own"
? Legalities around copyright of paid product reviews - who owns the copyright to these? Are specific contracts required when conducting paid product reviews?
? Use of other images in posts
? Use of other content in posts (content from other blogs and websites etc)

2. Legalities around giveaways and competitions where a brand provides a product/prize in return for the exposure on my site.

3. Disclosure - laws in the UK blogosphere - in the USA, they are very strict about disclosing when a post has been sponsored or paid. What are the UK laws around this?

4. Terms and Conditions of Use for my website

5. Data Protection
? What do I need to do around data protection given I will be holding details of my readers when they opt to subscribe to my newsletter, use my design service etc
? Do I need a specific Privacy Policy?

6. Insurances
? Public Liability needed?
? Professional Indemnity needed?

7. Wording and content of Disclosure and Editorial Policies
